Ghazale Moqanaki

I make installations that combine video, miniature sculptures, animation and sound that all converge to emphasis on liveliness of objects.

Using small worlds like dollhouses, puppets, miniatures, I reflect on questions about instability in power, identity, memory, waste, and the stories we tell ourselves. By these stories I mean the internal narratives we create to make sense of our lives, experiences, emotions, and identity.
